Scholarships

The Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Foundation is proud to fund scholarships through a number of universities and professional organizations across North America. If you are currently enrolled in full-time degree program at one of the universities listed below or are enrolled in a full-time degree program in North America and are a member in one of the organizations listed below, you are invited to apply.

Please click on the downloadable PDF links in the box to the right for a copy of the scholarship application which includes eligibility information and a scheduled timeline. Please note that your application must be submitted directly to the institution where you are enrolled or professional organization to which you belong. If you have any questions, please contact Valerie Beach via e-mail at valerie_beach@fmi.com

Additional scholarships may be available for children and legal dependents of current employees.  Please contact your site Human Resources representative for more information.

The application deadline for the 2010-11 academic year scholarships is Friday, February 26, 2010.
